Well I took off yesterday for a mental health day. Since everyone is off this week and it's so quiet in the office, I took off yesterday to work on my 4 page paper on Spain for my group project, but I really couldn't get to it yesterday. I was trying but I was distracted by looking up stuff for my friends baby shower, looking for tickets to CT for my bro's graduation, and being plain lazy. So I started it about 2:30 pm and then went to the Nana's house for Easter at 4:30. So I got a paragraph done.

Easter was nice. The baby had no idea what we were planning. It was like we were secret agents trying to devise a plan to keep our secret easter mission secret from a foreign leader. But she had a nice time and she found all her eggs and we ate dinner and dyed eggs and then she opened her big Easter basket from the Easter Bunny. I got it at Walmart for like $15 and it was huge and she loved it because it was a stationary and sketch book set and she is really into having to do "her paperwork" since the Nana is a teacher and I'm always doing my homework. So she sharpened her pencils from the kit, and put all her stuff in the little carry bag it came with. Then she decided to fill the thermos that came with it up with water and have a tea party in the bathroom. My mom had sent some activity books and this little duck that sings "Splish Splash" song. It's cute but got old after 80 times. Note to self, kill my mother. But she was dancing around naked while I was running her bath. It was cute.

I got home and a friend from when I lived in FL (like when I was in 3rd grade) called and we are getting together tonight for happy hour. Her name is also Lauren. I was always L#1 and she was L#2 becuase I was older. We were best friends and she moved away first and we kept in touch and then through the power of myspace we re-connected. It's going to be nice since I have no friends.
S and I were planning on taking a vacay this summer but he dropped the bomb last night. Apparently he and his boy MJ have been scheming a Vegas trip to play in some poker tournament, SANS their girls. And when I asked him how MJ's girl was about this trip, he said she was cool with it and had no problem but he was afraid of how I was going to react. I instead of yelling at him, calmly said, "I trust you and that is fine but I thought we were going somewhere this summer together." He said he was only going to go for a few days of his vacation and we would have time to go somewhere when he got back. So I tell him "what if you go to Vegas and loose all your money and come home and we sit here the rest of the week?" He said we could always go to the beach. So I said "I trust you and I have no problem with you going with MJ, but if his girl wigs and demands to go, then I am going as well." He said he already figured that and would want me to go if Lindz was going. So we will see. MJ and his girl don't live together and I'm not sure if she realizes that Vegas is the city that doesn't sleep. I trust Steven and I know he and MJ will be sharing a room at a cheap hotel and then be playing poker the rest of the time. I just don't trust women who get drunk off the free drinks in the casinos. Also many bachelorette parties go on during the summer. I'm not worried too much about it. I decided if he does go and I don't, then I may fly to TX and spend a few days with his mom and bring the baby. I also might go to NY and see my family and some old friends and bring the baby. Not really sure. But it has to be cheap since I'm broke. Or I may just go to VA for the few days I'm off. It's in the beginning of June.

And so it's Friday and I have no plans other than happy hour tonight with an old friend and bring the stang to get serviced tomorrow morning at the butt crack of dawn. The Nana also gave me a massage GC so I might do that tomorrow as well. I need to finish the Spain paper tonight and get with the group and get it together before tomorrow. I want to relax this weekend. Most likely I will be doing some Spring cleaning and throwing away some of Steven's clothes.
